Vix

Hi I'm Vix, Yorkshire born + bred, lived round here all my life! I was named 'Vic Vixen' at a prevous radio station + Embrased it, now its just 'Vix' Music is my biggest passion + my genre's are extensive - fave musical era is the 80's. Its  rare that i don't have music playing during the day.

I have two dogs + 2 budgies and was always brining injured or stray animals  home as a child. I have 2 Grown up daughter s, who have the same passion for music as me, not to mention my husband. 

My other passion is my motorbike 'birdy' it has been a lifelong dream to learn to ride. i'm finally doing it.i have more bobbies than is sensible. because i can't sit still. i like to be busy. I'm known for being a bit accident prone + clumsy.

Dream interview guest? - If freddie mercury was still alive of cause it would be him, however i have massive respect for sir brian may, he comes across as a very interesting person with his musical knowlage, astrophyiscs and of course  the animal welfare angle - particualry with fixes + badges - can't i just interview queen as a collective?

Love about SPR - I Love how we all work as a team, it feels like a family. Our groupchats are bit bonkers at times.

How + When in Radio - was interviewe on a local chat show radio program, they asked me back as a presenter. I've never looked back, that was 2022.

Embarrassing radio moment? - I've plenty to choose from , but changing the word in my heard to something less 'colourful' only to use the word seconds later  when saying 'see i didn't say_____' to the boss. The mic was still live! OOOPS!!
